JetPlex Racing goes for championship with Primesoft support

A group of four high school students from Pleszew proved unbeatable in the Polish edition of the F1 in Schools competition, a global challenge to design and build a miniature Formula 1 car. Now, the JetPlex Racing Team is heading to the world championships in Singapore, supported by partners including Primesoft Polska.

What is the JetPlex Racing?

JetPlex Racing is a team of four friends from Stanisław Staszic High School No. 1 in Pleszew: Filip Sokołowski, Szymon Rossa, Gracjan Woliński, and Milena Sierżant. Their journey began with a shared passion and a bold ambition – to take part in F1 in Schools Poland, an innovative educational program designed to bring STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) to life in the most engaging way possible.

F1 in Schools is no ordinary competition. Its mission: design and build a miniature Formula 1 car. Created by engineers and endorsed by Formula 1, the program has already attracted over 1.3 million students from 50+ countries and 26,000 schools worldwide.

What makes this challenge unique? Success demands skills beyond the classroom. Participants must master advanced design software, run simulations, and conduct aerodynamic tests – often with guidance from industry professionals they seek out themselves.

There’s no direct financial reward. The true prize is knowledge, experience, and the thrill of innovation – something every participant values far more than material benefits.

From Poland to Singapore

JetPlex Racing first conquered the national stage, outperforming larger six-member teams to claim the title of Poland’s best team for the 2023/2024 season. That victory earned them a ticket to the World Finals in Singapore, held from 27 September to 2 October.

Winning at home was just the beginning. Preparing for the global stage meant building a car capable of covering a 20-meter track in just one second, creating a professional presentation booth for judges, and securing sponsorships to fund the trip.

– We’re proud to support JetPlex Racing and help this exceptionally talented team compete on the world stage. Their passion is inspiring, and we’re rooting for them in Singapore,”
says Filip Kolendo, Vice President of Primesoft Polska.

The team’s car weighs just 48 grams and is powered by a CO₂ cartridge – identical for all competitors. The challenge? Achieve maximum aerodynamic efficiency. As Szymon Rossa explains:

– The race lasts barely a second, but performance isn’t the only metric. Judges also evaluate marketing, teamwork, and sponsor engagement.
